This Privacy Policy explains what information 123CV.NET ("we", "us") collects when you use www.123cv.net, how we use it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect as little as possible, we never sell your data, and you can use the resume builder without creating an account.

1. Information we collect

If you create an account, we store your name, email address, and a hashed version of your password. If you save resumes to your account, we store the resume content you enter (such as work history, education, and skills). If you contact us, we keep the email correspondence. We do not collect payment information because the service is free.

2. How we use your information

We use your account data solely to operate the service: signing you in, saving your resumes so you can edit them later, and responding to support requests. We do not use your resume content for advertising, and we never sell or rent personal information to third parties.

3. Building a resume without an account

You can use the builder and download a PDF without registering. In that case, the resume data you type stays in your browser and is sent to our server only once, to generate the PDF; it is not stored after the download completes.

4. Cookies and analytics

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. We use Google Analytics with IP anonymization to understand aggregate traffic, for example which pages are visited most. Analytics data does not include the content of your resumes.

5. Sharing and third parties

We share data only with the infrastructure providers needed to run the site (hosting and database services), and only to the extent required to provide the service. These providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

6. Data retention and deletion

Saved resumes and account data are kept until you delete them or ask us to delete your account. You can delete individual resumes from your dashboard at any time. To delete your entire account, email us and we will remove it within 30 days.

7. Security

Passwords are hashed with bcrypt and never stored in plain text. All traffic to the site is encrypted with HTTPS. Access to production data is restricted to the people who operate the service.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR), you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us and we will respond within 30 days.
